Where do I get CPCS Workshops?
Easy, check the LPCA website, www.LPCAGA.org Look for the tab marked Career & Training. On the drop down menu, click CE workshops. On the next screen click CE Calendar and check the box for SUPERVISON.
What does a CPCS do?
The licensing board requires future mental health professionals to have over 100+ hours of clinical supervision in order to become licensed. The LPC Supervisor is required to be certified. VIEW State Licensing Board RULES
There is a shortage of trained clinical supervisors which is why this certifications so important.
